I had to undergo facial stitches due to an accident. Initially, I was very worried since the wound was on my face and it was quite deep and large. However, the doctor was calm and carefully explained everything that had happened and the treatment plan. My wound was deep and had a high chance of becoming raised or forming a keloid scar. The doctor called it a “trapdoor scar.” He recommended that I undergo surgery and have the wound stitched using a Z-plasty technique, which would result in minimal scarring and a smooth blend with the surrounding skin. Now, six months later, I am very satisfied with the treatment. Throughout this period, the doctor has been attentive and caring, answering all my questions without any sign of impatience. I would like to thank him for taking such good care of me until my facial wound has fully healed.
