Vejthani Hospital : Thailand Hospital Accreditation (HA) 2007

The Thailand Hospital Accreditation is a health care facility accreditation awarded by The Institute of Hospital Quality Improvement and Accreditation (HQIA) in Thailand. The HA Accreditation project is an initiative for quality improvement in Tha Institute of Hospital Quality Improvement and Accreditation in public and private hospitals.

Vejthani Hospital was accredited by Thailand Hospital Accreditations (HA) 2007.HA aims to invoke national standard of medical care and services. Indeed the main objective of HA Accreditation process in Thailand is to improve the standard of health care, that by doing this, the patient safety is improved and risk is better managed. Over time, the integration and management of health services is improved, reducing variations in standards of care and costs, and the public’s confidence in the health care system is strengthened.

The HA Accreditation program focuses on patient care, organizational skills and multi-disciplinary teamwork. The program highlights on-going self-assessment and continuous improvement

• Organization
• Education and training
• Environment of care
• Systems and processes
• Policies and procedures
• Instruments
• Continuous quality improvement

Here at Vejthani Hospital we are aware that Hospitals and healthcare services are vital components of any well-ordered and humane society, and will indisputably be the recipients of societal resources. That hospital should be places of safety, not only for patients but also for the staff and for the general public, is of the greatest importance.
