Spinal Cord Injury Recovery After Gunshot Wound | Advanced Robotic Rehabilitation

Patient Stories

After suffering a spinal gunshot injury during a student-led protest movement in Bangladesh, Fahim faced a life-changing journey of recovery. Following emergency surgery and initial treatment in Bangladesh, he came to Vejthani International Hospital for advanced rehabilitation and intensive physiotherapy. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wasuwat Kitisomprayoonkul explained that Fahim has paraplegia from the gunshot injury. He recommended advanced robotic rehabilitation that would help him gradually regain movement, improve mobility, and rebuild his independence. From being unable to sit or stand on his own, to practicing gait-assisted walking, his recovery journey reflects the power of specialized rehabilitation. Continuous physical and emotional support throughout Fahim’s spinal cord injury recovery has led him to a significant improvement.
