Dr. Suravat Homvises, a pediatric allergist and immunologist at Vejthani Hospital, participated in the AAIAT Semi-Annual Meeting 2024 organized by the Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Association of Thailand (AAIAT). The event was held at the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel, Chonburi, on October 4-5, 2024.
During the conference, Dr. Surawat Homvises presented the research on the increasing prevalence of food allergies in children after liver transplantation, titled “Predictors and Clinical Characteristics of Food Allergy Development after Pediatric Liver Transplantation. This conference fostered the exchange of new medical knowledge aimed at enhancing treatment for food allergies in children, which are becoming more common today.
