Regaining Movement After Stroke with Robotic Rehabilitation

Patient Stories

Following an ischemic stroke, Mr. Kahn Socheat experienced significant mobility limitations. Numbness on his right side and the inability to lift his right arm or leg prompted him to seek treatment at Vejthani Hospital.

Dr. Tanawat, a rehabilitation medicine specialist, diagnosed Mr. Kahn’s condition and recommended a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to restore his mobility. This program incorporated advanced technologies specifically tailored for neurological patients. The program included robotic rehabilitation tools like the C-Mill for gait training, Luna EMG to enhance his sensorimotor cortex function, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to address his muscle weakness caused by the stroke.

Through dedicated participation in the rehabilitation program, Mr. kahn successfully regained his mobility and can now walk independently.
