Water vapor-based technology, called Rezum water vapor therapy, is used to treat prostate enlargement without requiring a surgery. The procedure takes only 10–15 minutes to complete. It is a non-surgical treatment that reduces the size of an enlarged prostate and widen the urethra. The surgery is done by inserting a resectoscope through the urethra into the prostate gland.
