Mr. Richard Baeyen, from New York, was suffering from severe knee pain during his visit to Bangkok. He then decided to contact Vejthani Hospital for treatment. Dr. Thanarat Reancharoen, a total joint reconstruction surgeon found that his illness was caused by aseptic loosening due to the broken polyethylene that he received from the right total knee arthroplasty 14 years ago. Dr. Thanarat performed revision TKA on the patient to replace the old polyethylene with a new one.
